did you know that Friday 13th was meant to be a really good lucky day meant for fucking because it was dedicated to Freyja, the goddess of love and fertility and the patron goddess of Fridays

but then Christianity found out about it and were like “Fucking???? outside of marriage????? NO NO NO!!!” and decided it was a horrible terrible bad unlucky day and you need to be super careful of everything you do in case you die or some shit.

so thanks Christians for ruining everyone’s fucking fun

Isn’t that how it always is with history

Okay but years in the future after the Inquisition has gone down in history

some guy: the inquisitor herself saved my great great grandmother from corypheus’ army the night Haven was destroyed

everybody: :OOOOO

Some other guy: the inquisitor personally found and returned my great grandpa’s lost drufalo once

everybody: shut the fuck up elmer that didn’t happen

so my new kitten has the lovely combo of an eye infection and an upper respiratory infection, so his eye is horribly swollen and he’s wheezing like a lil smoker AND he’s got a fever

he’s on antibiotics and eye ointment and has to be syringe fed because he doesn’t want to touch food or water

the poor little guy just sleeps all the time, but hopefully he’ll get better soon

This is my favorite cat fact

Like ancient humans looked at wolves and were like “I want that” and we got dogs

Ancient cats looked at people and were like “I guess I could tolerate these weird naked monkeys for food” and really, that haven’t changed all that much

Favorite quote

Dogs were selected to perform specific tasks—which never was the case for cats—and this selection for particular traits is what led to dogs’ diversification to the many breeds we see today.

“I think that there was no need to subject cats to such a selection process since it was not necessary to change them,” Geigl says. “They were perfect as they were.”

Cats have been, and always will be, perfect
