white people are racist by default (in the united states as well as other countries). are you white? congrats, you’re racist, and here’s the explanation:

you grew up in a racist society -> you were socialized to be racist thanks to racism being a dominant ideology -> you benefit from racism -> you’re racist no matter how much u think you’re not.

unlearning it is going to be a constant battle and u will never unlearn it fully. accept this. it is ingrained in you as a result of your upbringing and the media you’ve consumed. the sooner you come to terms with your own racism, the sooner u can better yourself. recognize the problem in yourself instead of setting yourself apart from those “other” white people.

i love my mother dearly but ability-wise she frightens me bc not only can she find 20 four leaf clovers within the span of like 2 minutes, everywhere, she can also write her name w/ both hands on a dry erase board or w/e at the exact same time and have both be a mirror image of one another

to add to this: i was making breakfast this morning and i hear “hey milo! look who came to say hello!” and, expecting like, a moth or a frog or something of that nature, i turn and she’s holding a snake

so like, Morrigan in Origins was the undebated, unchallenged goth of the group. there’s no denying that. so imagine you’re Morrigan and you’ve held this firm goth-status over your friend-group that you haven’t been around in years, and a decade later you see some of those friends again, and the perky, preppy little religious kid of the group is now hanging out with ravens, wearing hoods all the time, and has a wardrobe that consists entirely of dark colors. This kid who used to sing nonstop is quiet and emo 24/7 now. Imagine Morrigan learning that Leliana is the new goth
